september 1 2010 Happy September to you all. It's just been one of those weeks. The site was down this morning for a few hours and as a result... NO WORDS FOR YOU... AGAIN! This troubles me. For over three years now it has been my goal to produce WORDS for you every weekday before 9:00 AM EST. This allows you office dwellers a chance to ease into your day. It's my little way of "giving back." Hopefully tomorrow we'll resume our regularly scheduled program. Until then perhaps we should enjoy a moment of zen...

august 12 2010 For those of you regulars who've read my rantmanifesto you have some insights on my biased views of our current (U.S.) education system. Well... I was recently invited to be a featured artist at RE:FORM SCHOOL in New York City, Oct. 8 - 11, 2010. "In late September, Davis Guggenheim will be releasing his second film entitled Waiting For Superman." Says event organizer Yosi Sergant of TaskForce. "This film is expected to make a big splash and the education reform community is preparing to take full advantage of this opportunity. From the United Way to Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, from Charter Schools to major corporations, all pistons will be firing that month to try to create and capture momentum built by this compelling and heart-wrenching movie." The exhibition will be held in the entirety of a recently closed historical school on the Lower East Side of Manhattan where the classrooms will be converted into a gallery space. Now I get to obsess for the next few weeks. It's busy on the terrain lately. I'm polishing concepts for the latest limited handmade print, Dream Catcher, as we speak. Look for new goodies at the end of the month.
